OUR STORY

Men have been gathering here for more than twenty years.

ManUp4Prayer began more than twenty years ago under the leadership of the late Larry Wilson of Philadelphia.

From the beginning, the vision was simple but powerful: create a safe place where brothers from different religions, races, and walks of life could come as they were and seek God together.

The prayer line has continued through daily devotionals, Prayer Wednesday's full hour of prayer, prayer breakfasts, annual retreats, and the consistent commitment of men journeying toward the Kingdom together.

The work continues

Larry's legacy

Larry Wilson believed men needed a place where they could speak honestly with God and with one another. That belief still shapes the line today.

"Manning up means bringing what you carry — not hiding it."

Legacy quote — final wording to be confirmed with family.

Larry is one of several brothers from this fellowship who have gone on to glory. We remember them together on the home page.

What MEN PRAYING represents

The MEN PRAYING mark borrows the shape of a familiar work-site sign because prayer, for us, is active work. Spiritual development is ongoing. Men are being strengthened and rebuilt. Brotherhood requires effort. Something meaningful is happening here.

THE WORK CONTINUES

Every morning at 5:30.
